The scoring engine running today. Signals are anchored to what actually preceded funding in our outcome data — and a forecast in your deck is no longer read as revenue you already have.
Projections Never Count as Traction
A Year-3 forecast used to trip the same revenue signal as money in the bank. Projected figures are now captured separately and labelled as context, never as current revenue.
Prior Exit Needs Evidence
A previous exit is the strongest single predictor in our outcome data, so it now has to be evidenced by a quote from your deck. Unevidenced claims are dropped rather than rewarded.
Steadier Scores
Scores move less between runs than they used to — so when your score shifts, it is far more likely your deck changed than noise. We don't promise two runs will be identical.
Sector Base Rates
Consumer, marketplace, and food & beverage carry the outcome rates our data actually shows, instead of being scored as though every sector funds alike.
Solo Founder Signal at Pre-Seed
The solo-founder flag now applies at pre-seed, where the gap is widest — and a verified prior exit overrides it.
Rebuilt Conviction Score
Conviction used to collapse into two clumps. It is now built from a wider set of outcome-anchored features, so the number spreads across the range and means something.

Data-Driven Flag Audit
Every green and red flag was validated against 1,893 scored decks with real funding outcomes. Flags that didn't predict success were removed. Flags that did were promoted.
